Julia Bronk

Pre-Licensed Professional/Practicum Student

Julia is a practicum student from City University, completing her Master of Counselling. Julia completed her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology at Simon Fraser University and has spent several years supporting her community in various roles. These experiences have shaped her belief that healing begins with being heard, understood, and met where you are at.

At the heart of Julia’s philosophy is a profound respect for the therapeutic relationship. She believes that authenticity, connection, and trust are the pillars of effective therapy. Julia employs an integrative and adaptive approach to counselling, crafting each session to meet the unique needs of her clients. Grounded in a feminist, culturally-responsive, and trauma-informed framework, she is acutely aware of how contextual, intergenerational, and systemic factors play into one’s emotional landscape and sense of security.

Drawing from an array of modalities, including somatic, relational, and strength-based approaches, Julia weaves together techniques to help clients reconnect with their inner selves, cultivate resilience, and unpack their life stories with newfound clarity. She brings warmth, care, and a steady presence to her work. She is dedicated to creating meaningful change.

Outside of her counselling role, Julia is wandering the trails with her dog Malo and friends, curling up with a book on the couch, or spending time with family.
