Sara Farrow

Pre-Licensed Clinical Counsellor
BA, MACP, CLC

Sara has recently completed her Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology (MACP) with Yorkville University and is excited to be joining Living Bridges Therapy Collective as a counsellor. She holds a Certified Leadership Coach designation and has decades of experience working with people of all ages on teams and individually. Sara’s volunteer experience with facilitating change groups, mentoring youth and pre-marital couples, and developing leadership curriculum lends to her integrative and collaborative style when working with clients. In addition to a strengths-based and solution-focused approach, she enjoys using a variety of tools and activities depending on what the clients’ needs are. Through leadership coach training, Sara has developed her active listening skills and ability to hold space for clients to process their thoughts and emotions with a safe and empathic person. Sara also enjoys helping couples find hope and direction as they navigate relational complexities. Sara has additional training with Internal Family Systems and a Level 1 Certification in Observed Experiential Integration (OEI).

No two people are the same, and so Sara desires to work together with her clients in a culturally and contextually sensitive way, believing that the client is the expert in their own life. Being invested in a faith community, Sara honours the role that spirituality may have for clients in their own lives. Sara is passionate about asking thought-provoking questions, inspiring hope, and igniting confidence for clients on their journey to desired change.

Sara is a lifelong Kamloops resident and has a deep love for its people and their wellbeing. In her spare time, you will find Sara singing, hiking, biking, reading, writing, creating art, and frolicking with her family and big friendly dog.
