A managing partner with Living Bridges Therapy Collective since 2016, Sarah has her Bachelor of Social Work degree (BSW),Master of Social Work (MSW),Registered Social Worker (RSW) designation, and is excited to be working towards her Registered Clinical Social Worker (RCSW) designation, which will enable her to apply her specialized knowledge to assessing and diagnosing mental health disorders. Sarah is trained in Satir Family Therapy, Synergetic Play Therapy, and Satir and Neuroscience in the Sand Tray Therapy. She is also certified in the Safe and Sound Protocol, EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing),and Observed Experiential Integration.
In addition to her education and training, Sarah draws from her cross-cultural and varied work/life experiences to combine empathy with expertise in her practice. She loves her occupation and deeply values the opportunity to walk alongside those experiencing grief and trauma. Her warmth and relatability provide a safe, comfortable, and non-judgemental place where Sarah prioritizes holding space for people to work through what they need to. She is passionate about helping clients progress in making important connections, improvements, and experiencing release from hurt and trauma. Sarah believes that we are all on a journey, and she is honoured to be a companion for her clients – investing in them the focus, time, and energy they deserve on their path to healing.
When she is not focusing her time and energy on managing the business or helping clients, Sarah can often be found enjoying coffee with friends, spending time with her dog, Norrie, playing the piano, or working on her latest cross stitch.
