Desiree Rasopo

Desiree is a practicum student counsellor who offers a warm, grounded, and holistic approach to counselling. With a background as a massage therapist and yoga instructor, she brings a whole-person perspective to her work with clients.

Desiree takes a client-centred approach in her work and values empathy, compassion, and meeting people where they are. She aims to create a safe and non-judgmental space where clients feel respected and supported at their own pace. She believes that feeling understood is an important part of meaningful change.

Desiree has experience working at a Child and Youth Advocacy Centre, where she supports children, youth, and families during difficult and vulnerable times. This work has shaped her approach to care, with an emphasis on safety, trust, and emotional support.
